As the sole importers for the vast majority of goods that we supply, we make it our business to truly know and understand the features and foibles of all our complex products. We have an excellent warranty service (we’re in direct liaison with the factories) and we provide a comprehensive spares and technical support long after the period of warranty has expired. This approach is fundamentally different to that of the usual online retail giants, but despite this, we can also be highly competitive!

So if you’ve seen the same product in stock elsewhere at a lower price, even if that competitor is overseas, we’ do our utmost to match or even beat the competing deal.

EBAY AND EUROPEAN SELLERS

Make sure the price you are quoted is including VAT and import chargers, these often are not included in the displayed price if the goods are being shipped in from outside the UK. 

A word on shipping

We don’t drop-ship and with very few exceptions, our products are stocked, packed and delivered from our warehouse on Hayling Island, near Portsmouth. We take a lot of care with our packing to avoid damage in transit (cookers, especially) and this comes at a cost, but a shipping fee can be avoided if you’re able to collect. If you’re not commencing work on a refit project for a while, no problem  - we’ll safely store your purchase free of charge until you need it. If you’re a long way from the South Coast and time is not critical, we can sometimes help by consolidating your shipment with those for other clients in your region. You just need to ask and we’re always happy to help where we can.
