Our standard contracts last 8 seasons, ensuring an up-to-date fleet and optimal profitability.
Guaranteed Fixed Rental Income
Receive an annual income of 8% (paid over 12 months), whether your boat is rented or not.
8 weeks of free boating vacations
Take advantage of 8 weeks or more a year to cruise, either aboard your own boat or an equivalent in our fleet (over 950 boats).

Free upkeep and mooring
All mooring, maintenance and insurance costs are covered.
Fixed and guaranteed buyback
At the end of the programme, we’ll buy back your boat at 50 or 60% of the purchase price (excl. tax), depending on the model. You may also extend your contract or keep your boat!

Is the Ownership Programme for me?
Le Boat’s Ownership Programme is designed for boating lovers who want to cruise more often. It lets you enjoy several weeks on board every year for eight years, while offering better value than frequent chartering.
Can I cruise on other boats?
Le Boat’s Ownership Programme gives you a specific boat in a chosen cruising ground.
You select your boat from our available list and can cruise on it anytime during the season (subject to availability).
As an owner, you can access other boats across all Le Boat destinations.
At no extra cost, you can choose a boat of the same or similar model within the same or lower price range.
Upgrades are available by paying the difference between your own boat’s charter price and the upgraded model.
Do I need to pay in full, up front?
You can pay in full if you wish, but most Le Boat Owners spread the cost using financing via reliable third-party providers. Typically, a minimum 20% financial contribution of the purchase price is required (30% for German residents).
How does the points systemwork in Le Boat Ownership Programme?
Le Boat uses a points-based system to manage usage:
Each owner receives 42 points per year, deducted per booking depending on season and duration (e.g., high-season week ≈ 14 points).
An extra 42 points are allocated for last-minute bookings.
Boats in Canada require more points than other regions.
Boat owners may access our Italy franchise base for a 25% contribution of the charter price.
Typical owners take 8 weeks on board annually, with up to 12 weeks possible.
How long is the programme and what happens at the end?
Le Boat’s Ownership Programme lasts 8 years (ending in October). At the end, you can:
Keep your boat.
Sell it back to Le Boat at a guaranteed 50–60% of the original price (depending on the model).
Sell your boat privately with our brokerage support.
Extend your ownership contract..
Do I still receive an income if Le Boat does not rent my boat?
Yes. With Le Boat’s Ownership Programme, you receive a monthly income of 8% p.a. of your boat’s purchase price, guaranteed and contracted, regardless of charter activity. This applies year-round, including winter.
Is my investment safe with Le boat?
Yes. Your investment is backed by Le Boat’s financial strength as part of Travelopia, a specialist travel group with over 50 independently operated brands and more than 55 years of experience in boat charter.
