Budget & Microswitch Taps

Our range of microswitch taps and showers are ideal for motorhomes, campervans, caravans and horseboxes.

A microswitch tap in a motorhome or caravan is part of a simple electrical system that controls the water pump automatically when you turn the tap.

When the tap is off, the microswitch inside the tap is open (no electrical connection) and water pump is off, so no water flows.

You turn or lift the tap and it presses a tiny internal switch, this closes the microswitch circuit and turns the water pump on.

 

Our standard non microswitch low pressure taps and showers are suitable for use in applications where the 12 or 24v water pump has a pressure switch control.
