Teak Wonder celebrates 50 years of beautiful decks

Teak Wonder has been the best treatment for teak since 1973 and here at Penguin Engineering, we’ve been the sole UK distributor of this product for over 35 years.

Generations of yacht owners understand there is no more effective and kind better way to gently but effectively clean, brighten and preserve their beautiful teak decks. But rather than go on how wonderful it is, we wanted to share a couple of recent projects so you can see for yourself.

Teak Wonder Examples 

In this example, teak wonder has been used for many decades on this beautiful Vintage Nicholson 35. These photos were taken after the most recent application of Teak Wonder by Adrian Matthews of Simply Marine Surveys. By maintaining the teak regularly with Teak Wonder, not only has it maintained its beautiful appearance, but it has increased its rate of wear and therefore improved the sustainability of the boat. The Teak hardens the wood against the extreme marine environment and also minimises the need for scrubbing which also erodes the teak. Teak Wonder offers a more sustainable alternative to having to replace the decks so often.

In our second example you can see how Teak Wonder has been used by our friends at marine valeting services in hamble on a new sunseeker. It illustrates the trust that the owner and MVS have in Teak wonder to use it on a brand-new luxury yacht. With no risk to the yacht or its fittings. Visually the result speaks for themselves.

2. Our Brightener restores the wood to a “just sanded” finish
